ILEA Toronto is a Chartered Chapter of ILEA Canada, which is an Affiliate of ILEA International (formerly International Special Events Society).
 

The International Live Events Association was founded in 1987 to foster collaboration and improved performance across the industry.  ILEA works to encourage professionals to focus on the “event as a whole” rather than its individual parts. This is accomplished through education, networking and promoting ethical conduct.

Toronto was selected as home to the fourth Chapter of ILEA and it's first International chapter in 1988. For more than 35 years our membership has brought together event professionals from a variety of disciplines to learn from each other, collaborate and grow both personally and professionally.  Our membership is a diverse mix  of event creatives including:  designers, caterers, decorators, florists, planners, producers, audio-visual technicians, venue specialists, educators, journalists, hoteliers and many more subject matter experts across thee event supply chain.
 

Through our connection with ILEA Canada  and ILEA International Hub we provide a forum for event professionals to network, learn, and exchange best practices with other event industry leaders from across the country and around the world.
