Yes, when you join a local chapter in Canada, you also become a member of ILEA Canada which represents chapters in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. You are also a member of ILEA's international organization.

ILEA Seattle is governed by a local Board of Directors that is nominated and elected by the chapter. At the international level, ILEA is run by a Board of Governors and a full-time management team. The chapter and international boards are volunteer positions

You can attend a chapter meeting at a non-member, at the non-member rate. We encourage you to try ILEA out. You will get the most out of ILEA if you join and become involved in the chapter.

Chapter meetings and events are held at various venues across the GTA and virtually - and we cover a different topic and theme. This is so that you can see the latest event industry venues while also discussing current topics, trends and more. We do both educational events and pure networking events.

Yes, the Certified Special Events Professional or CSEP designation. The CSEP designation is the hallmark of professional achievement in the special events industry.
